I am a self-taught artist, and have been drawing since I could hold a pencil, though admittedly I haven't practiced as much as I should.

Depression has come back, swinging and knocked me on my ass again. I've barely felt motivated enough to get out of bed lately. I probably wouldn't have if my sons didn't need me. I just feel so...dead on my feet, like I'm walking through a narrow hallway and just watching life go on around me through thick glass walls.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, as I'm sure most everyone knows. We went to visit my parents for the first year of a new tradition to merge both my parents' families and my husband's into one big ordeal, and that part went GREAT, food was good, everyone had a good time, it went over splendidly.
Except when we first got there. See, my husband and I came over there around four or five hours before anyone else because we needed to make some stuff there (my parents had gotten the ingredients for us and since we were going to be there anyway, we just decided to do everything there, because why not).
